How to Prepare for the Entry Test
Most entry tests cover English, Mathematics, Science and General Knowledge/Islamiat, followed by an intelligence test, interview and medical screening. A simple plan works best:
- Revise Class 6–8 textbooks first, especially Maths and Science concepts.
- Practise past-paper style MCQs every day with a timer.
- Build English vocabulary, grammar and comprehension.
- Take weekly mock tests and review every mistake.
- Stay physically active; fitness matters for the medical and ISSB-style screening.
Why Cadet Colleges Are Best for Your Child’s Career
Cadet colleges are residential institutions that combine strong academics with military-style training. Students live on campus, follow a fixed routine and are guided by trained staff. This environment shapes both results and character, and that is why so many parents prefer it from Class 8th onwards.
Fixed wake-up, study, sports and prayer timings build habits that last for life.
Small classes, evening prep and regular tests prepare students for Matric, FSc and university entry tests.
Prefect systems, house competitions and parades give students real responsibility early.
Daily PT, games and outdoor activities keep students healthy and ready for medical screening.
Public speaking, debates and co-curricular clubs improve communication and interview skills.
Living away from home teaches independence, teamwork, honesty and respect.
Career Paths After Cadet College
- Armed Forces: Cadet college students are well placed for Army, Navy and Air Force commissions through the PMA, Naval and PAF Academy routes, after clearing ISSB.
- Engineering & Technology: Strong Maths and Science foundations help students aim for top engineering universities.
- Medicine: Pre-medical students prepare for MDCAT with a focused study routine.
- CSS & Civil Services: Leadership, English skills and discipline help in competitive exams and interviews.
- Business, Aviation & Sports: Confidence and fitness help in pilot selection, management and professional sports.
Selection into the armed forces depends on merit, ISSB results and medical fitness. Studying at a cadet college does not guarantee a commission, but it builds the right foundation.
